Donald Venkatapen, Partner, has been a practising Luxembourg lawyer (avocat à la Cour) for more than two decades. He qualified at a traditional Luxembourg law firm in litigation before moving to a Magic Circle law firm, where he specialised in employment and insurance law. He spent 10 years as a managing partner in a boutique law firm before building his own practice. He has shaped the organisation around his own values and ethics.
Donald can advise in French, English, German and Luxembourgish. He is also qualified to practice UK Law (Solicitor at the Law Society of England and Wales since 2006). This gives him a breadth of expertise and differentiated understanding of legal issues.

Christophe Brault, Avocat à la Cour, has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1991. He holds a degree in business law from the University Paul Verlaine in Metz and has worked with Donald since 2016. Together, they bring more than 50-years of business and legal knowledge to the practice. Christophe practices predominantly in pre-litigation and litigation, covering key areas of the law, including civil liability, labour, commercial, real estate and criminal. He also acts as an expert in the field of personal injury compensation.
Christophe is a member of the French Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Luxembourg and speaks fluent French and English.

Claire joined Venkatapen Boutique Lawyers in 2022 from another boutique Luxembourg law firm, where she was in charge of the legal and administrative secretariat. Originally from the Lorraine region of France, Claire handles the firm's legal and administrative secretarial work and assists the firm's lawyers with paralegal issues. Claire speaks French and has a basic knowledge of English.

Leslie holds two Law degrees from Université libre de Brussels, with a specialisation in international public law. She joined Venkatapen Boutique Lawyers in July 2022, having successfully completed her CCDL (Cours Complémentaires en Droit Luxembourgeois) and been sworn in at the Luxembourg Bar in September 2022. With precision and professionalism, she works across a range of practice areas in English, French, German and Luxembourgish. She also speaks Hungarian. Her values align with those of our firm, focusing on personal relationships built on trust. She continues to broaden her legal knowledge and has already handled numerous cases with dedication.

Maurane has worked with Donald for almost seven years and is an experienced legal secretary. She is a talented administrator, with responsibility for many of our law firm’s regulatory issues, such as client management and Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing documentation. Maurane is originally from Belgium and speaks French and English.

Isabelle joined Venkatapen Boutique Lawyers in 2022, having built up eight years’ experience with Luxembourg law firms, specialising in litigation and corporate law. She also spent 11 years as legal assistant with a Luxembourg-based investment company. Isabelle handles the firm's legal and administrative secretarial work and helps all the firms’ lawyers with paralegal issues. Originally from the Grand Est region of France, Isabelle speaks French, English and some German.
